Peeping the Streeat: Part ll

I was simply exhausted last night to finish my post of my fave looks from streetpeeper.com. There are now either 9 or 10 photos to give my commentary about.
By the way, all of these pictures of the people photographed are in my beloved New York City.

I like everything about this look but the super strappy heels are not hitting me right. I have a strappy heel phobia, and I feel that they have a 2002 look look to them. I prefer more structured heels like these

I like the way she has the different shades of gray all in one outfit, instead of matchy matchy whic. And those gray suede looking oxford heels are heaven. The white also helps alot because I think the outfit would look a tad bit dry and boring without it because of all the gray.

You may argue with me saying that this is tacky, but I love it because it's so bold. The ruched, structured shoulders with the ty-dye mix of green, brown, and a tad bit of orange makes the top even better. And the way she paired it with the white pencil skirt and the tights with the runs and tears is great!

*gnoring the blurriness of the pic*. That skirt is stunning. I can't remember if it's Missoni or night, but I think it is. I love how she paired the leather jacket with the multicoloed skirt. The only thing that's bothering me with this, are those heels. But luckily they are T-straps, so I guess it's not that bad.

Ahh I am absolutely loving the detailing of her outfit! I'm not sure if that's a top and bottom or just dress but she looks so chic. And I approve of her heels. Now of course I always have to find something wrong with her outfit, but that bag is so off. The polkadot design and the red are not complimenting her wonderful outfit very well. But all in all, I guess this look a 8 and a half.

This man looks so well put together. His cuffed skinny jeans are great! And those shoes make me want to melt. I just wonder where he got that silver "21" weekender bag from?

Ahaha her laughing face is priceless. Me being the "cardigan-crazy gyal" I am, that black scoop-neck one looks lovely with the opaque burgandy tights and high waisted skirt! Job well done :)

Not much to really say about this, except that her blazer is neat and fits her and her outfit well. But I'm not so excited about thatt red bag...

And to finish off this post, I have a girl who wore this neat outfit to Fashion Week. Most of the people on here are at Fashion Week, but I just wanted to point her out. She looks well put together "Fashion Week attire apppropriate". That's not real but I like to say that alot :p.Ahaha, there's nothing I can really say about this except that..idk.

Alright, that's enough for today. I'll post maybe later :)
Leave me some comments please! Ciao :D ♥♥♥

Peeping the Streets,,

I keep on abandoning my beloved blog. But anyways, I was browsing one of my fave websites to see people's personal style all over the world, streetpeeper.com, and I browsed my hometown's looks of the people in New York City. There were tons of ridiculous looks, but I will hopefully post those later on. Ther's alot of inspiration that you can find on Streetpeeper, especially if you're looking for lookings from all over the world. It's not a super trendy website or a wanna be "Vogue" website. It just is what it is.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic The contrast of the full and baggyness at the lower part of the outfit and the almost fitted blazer and loose white tee do look well together. And that plaid is not too annoying or ridiculously bold. But I can't tell if that is a fedora she is wearing or not?

Image and video hosting by TinyPic The way she has put the black and navy together is quite neat. I have attempted to pair navy and black together and it never seemed to work. The white in the outfit also seperates the two dark colors very well.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic I have always loved jodphur pants but I just never knew how to wear them. The blazer is paired well with it, I just think the frills make it look like too much is going on. But she wears it well.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic This man pairs the purple with the gray and dark blue well. He looks effortless and is by-the-way toting an organic shopping bag. Go figure!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic Though many may argue with me saying that this man looks ridiculous, you have to admit that he does make the Urban-In-The-City look nice. And he's not afraid to tote a bag that is in fact oversize and green. The bag by the way looks like the one I was about to purchase from American Apparel.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic Her pixie cut is absolutely adorable. The half peacoat and straight-leg loose trousers do go well together especially with blue button down

Image and video hosting by TinyPic I can't tell if that's a romper or just a dress but it looks nice anyway. The only thing that's bothering in this outfit is the gold metallic oversize bag. I absolutely hate metallic bags because they are so Teeny Bopper-ish ya know?

Image and video hosting by TinyPic All I have to say is that she looks sooo chic!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic I am a big houndstooth fan, explaining why I have a houndstooth trench coat. This young lady seems to pull of the purple houndstooth with a voluminous skirt excellent. She kept it simple and chic with only black accessories.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic Hey don't you think that the scenery also makes this peach and olive green outfit even better. And I'm totally in love with that uber oversized weekender bag!! Does Urban Outfitters sell any that big?

Image and video hosting by TinyPic Ahh for some reason, I think she pulls off this Bumble-bee like yellow and black outfit off so well. I would love to wear those leggings by themself also!

*I'm actually starting to get sleepy so I'll post the other 9 or 10 photos tomorrow! It is 1 in the morning so I need to get some sleep, especially since I like too stay on the computer extremely late! Ciao and comment this post please,,

it doesn't matter, do the dance, do the dance!

....the way you move is a misery. Well I think that's what they're saying in D.A.N.C.E. by Justice, which was my favorite song last year. And today I recieved my new digital camera. It's the Nikon Coolpix S210! I was so excited I already uploaded pics to the Computer.

And yes those are rollers in my hair! Bahaha I'm trying not to put so much heat on my hair every day so instead of curling my hair with a Flat Iron, I simply roller set my hair every night. So in the morning my hair has a nice curl to it! Aha I hate to sound like an "I used this product____, and the results were AMAZING commercial, but it's the truth.

And has anyone noticed how much "designers are embracing the metallics this season"?!?!

Luchini-less.

Arghh I am tired of being broke! I need cash now. Since we are having a three-day weekend (Monday off), there's an extra day for me to bring in those clothes I have to Rag-O-Rama. That way they'll give me money for those 4 pairs of skinny jeans I'm bringing and I can go to H&M to get those cardigans! Good plan, eh? I wish those skinny jeans could still fit me but I probably haven't worn them in like a year! There is a solid black pair, solid white pair, distressed gray pair, and a faded black pair. I just miss them so much! My closet looks so empty without them! I;m also giving them my brown wedges and two pairs of khaki shorts. The highest amount of money I hope they give me is at least $20. If they give me like less than $10, I will never attempt to bring them anything after that, and another vintage/thrift store can enjoy my clothes!
I also miss my camera. We were like BFF's! And I'm going to a concert on Saturday night and I'll be camera-less :(... No camera means not many outfit posts to look forward to so instead it's whatever.

anyway.....

Look at Nylon Magazine's new billboard's in Japan. I think they are so creative and Nylon, except not as vintage-y as they normally are.

Another post for Septiembre.

Since I only have two posts for September, I thought it was sad that I was supposed to be a blogger but only posts twice a month. But to get off of that topic, one thing that has been annoying me lately is all this crappy music on that radio that they want to call Hip-Hop. Like come on!!! Like rapping about "what's up with that cookie" has no skill to it what-so-ever, and just because it has a so-called "hype" beat does not mean that the rappers have any skill. I think it's sad how guys can degrade women on a song, but yet we (not actually me) are running around singing/ rapping to it like it's just so great how they are disrespecting us in a different matter. Another thing that is not fair about it is that rappers like Soulja-Crap (soulja boy) can get so much airplayoff of rapping about a girl's "Donk" or "boootymeat". It's pitiful. While artists (people who make art-not crap- in the form of music) like U-N-I can only win MTV's VMA Best Breakout Artists. They are my new fave Hip-Hop groups/artists. I also like The Cool Kids, Gym Class Heroes, Soul-ish, etc.

Outfit Post-y Thing??? Yes Ma'am...or Sir lol.

So that day, I spent the night at my friend's house and then we went to the movies to see House Bunny. blah blah blah. I haven't laughed at a movie in awhile but it was hilarious, kind of like Superbad or The Fourty-Year Old Virgin. You had to think fast in order to understand the jokes. That's probably the last time I did something fun other than go to football games, which I have no clue what's going on in them anyway ahaha.
And that trash really stunk!! Like really bad!

This statue thing..??...is a new art exhibit in New York City..."L- is for the way you look at me, O- is for the only one I need, V- is very, very extraordinary, E- is even more than anyone you can adore"
Isn't that statue and song both beautiful. The next time I go back to the Big Apple I have to see it!

Comments and I'll try to post again as soon as possible

That lovely leather.

Hey, remember in the previous post I said I would finish my, UO, AA, and gojane.com wishlist, well I am now. I happen to check my blog everyday hoping for more comments but if you visit my blog why not comment?!?! But I'm gonna be polite and just lt it go. So anyways, I've been up to the same ol' same ol'...dance and school. But there's one thing that has been kicking me in the butt....being broke. There are some many things I would like to purchase for that Fall and Winter, but no $$$ equals no moccasin boots, corduroy skinnies, chunky cardigans, or studded jewelry!!
So I've decided the best way to get money right now is to send all those clothes I haven't worn to my fave vintage/thrift store Rag-O-Rama. Maybe i could bring in the clothes to trade them in or just get cash. I'm thinking both right about now, because I do want some vintage pieces but I want to stop by H&M to get some of the things that I saw on their website like that Leather High-Waisted Skirt!!! That skirt makes me speechless...and you would not believe the price when I tell you it...$10 frigen dollars!!! OMG I thought my contacts were acting up when I saw the price, it was like un-frigen-believable. I basically scared everyone in the house with my loud screech.
Oh yeah and before I finish that wishlist I have to show you guys one of the ouftit pics that I have leftover. I just happened to be going through my small, stuffed closet and decided to make an outfit for the heck of it...

So today, I went out even though I had like 3 homework assignments because my sister had something for her Debutante thingy and we stopped by a SuperTarget. Surprisingly there was one since there as nothing around there except for...well nevermind, NADA. I was in desperate need for some new black eyeliner since I ran out like 3 weeks ago :) Even though I was broke, my mom bought it for me and I got another Audrey Hepburn portrait to put on my wall!!! I was so excited because it was on sale for $7.48. Call me cheap if you want but that price was just waaaayyyyy to good to be turned down! I mean like coming form its price being $29.99 to $7.98 that is frigen awesome!
Oh yeah, I forgot about that Darn wishlist..........Well here it is:

Cooler Climates Call for Cooler Clothes

Wooh, that was a long title. But hey I'm back, having not posted in a month. Its just that I have been so busy from school to dance that I have no time to blog or even check my Myspace(www.myspace.com/lola2thecity_). And the worst thing happened to me last week!.....my camera screen broke! GRRR. So obviously that means not many outfit posts, but since I have so many leftover outfits pictures that you guys haven't seen yet I'll be using those.
So right now I'm listening to Bittersweet Faith-by Bitter:sweet. They're music is so sensual and relaxing. It's good to listen to when your at home late at night maybe stressed about something or you just need to relax. This song is new fave by them other than "Our Remains".

Me being the shopping/wishlist fanatic I am, I once again had to show you all the clothing items I long for form Urban Outfitters, American Apparel, and gojane.com. All the things from Urban Outfitters are on sale, being I am such a cheapo. But everything else is regular priced :)

Image and video hosting by TinyPic...I am literally in love with these jeans by Cheap Monday. I would love to pair it with my motorcycle jacket and maybe some studded booties...

Image and video hosting by TinyPic...The thing I love about the skirt is the way the denim fabric looks distressed and the zig-zag stitching down the middle. Job well done!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic...I would absolutely love to add this henley-style cardigan to my wardrobe. The looseness of it sets it aside from the usual Boyfriend-cardigan.

I have to go now but I'll add the clothing items from American Apparel and gojane.com soon!

in a long time.

hiyaa! i havent posted an outfit post in a long time, well like i said in the previous post...in over a month.
Over the summer break i purchased some new pieces to add to my wardrobe and i also made a canvas tote bag with a big front pocket(pics soon).
One of my fave pieces is my striped cardigan that i got on sale at Target for $5.80!!
Its crazy by how cheap i am but when i saw it i was like "OMG a cardigan for $6.00". The only thing wrong about it was that it only came in a medium and i wear either a small or extra small. But then it hit me that the cardigan would look nice as an oversized cardi, so I bought and i absolutely love it!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic...Image and video hosting by TinyPic
[I dont really like the second pic much but i just wanted to show you guys a close up of the cardigan]

Another outfit that i really like that i wore over the was an outfit which included my: turqouise wictorian button down, hand-me-down multicolored skirt, and my brown Girl Scouts belt. If you read my blog youll probably recognize the skirt from my post on my sme of my Summer Break outfits.
I really didnt wanna wear the skirt long so I pulled it up to under my chest and wore it as a mini skirt.

ive been gone :(

Hiya everyone! If you read my blog, youll notice that I havent posted in over a month!! Now in between the time of me being gone ive been busy shopping (on my birthday and for back to school) and I transfered dance studios again, so now I dance at Dancemakers of Atlanta. I havent started yet but my first class is on saturday from 12:30-5:00. Im in junior and senior company, because of my age but i prefer not to get into that right now! And my dance schedule is also super crazy and hectic. Here it is:
Monday- 6:00-9:00
tuesday- 6:00-9:00
thursday- 6:00-9:00
saturday- 12:30-5:00
Okaaay so the crazy part is is that i soon as i get out of school ill basically have to go straight to dance and that means not alot of time for homework.
And another thing new in my life is that I go to a new school because i no longer attend the performing arts school that I recently went to last school year. Ive been getting alot of snobby/snotty looks from girls and that can get annoying but i really dont care because theyre not importnat in my life and i finnally figured how to open my locker!! :p

Now since I can never do a post without having pics in it heres some pics that i found on the computer and i loveee:
