First Beauty Post!

Beauty. Sounds like a good topic to me since I' always blogging about fashion and style. My beauty routine every morning seems to be getting crammed more and more from doing new tricks and steps. Most of the time I opt for the neautral, everday look unless I am perhaps going out. My everyday routine involves the basic beauty buys like liquid eyeliner, neautral blush, gold and brown eyeshadow, chapstick, liptint, and lipgloss.
MY DAILY PRODUCTS ARE:
(note that I am extremely cheap so I dont like to splurge on my Beauty products!)

1.) N.Y.C Liquid Eyeliner, 2.) C.O. Bigelow Mentha Liptint/gloss, 3.) Maybelline New York Eyeshadow Pallette, 4.) N.Y.C Cheek Glow, 5.) Covergirl Wetslicks

Sorry about the lack of an outfit, my camera has been feeling a bit lazy lately =(

The Older the Newer.

So for some time now I've been really taking interest in vintage and antique jewelry. It's something about finding a piece of jewelry that has a story behind it and knowing that no one will most likely have it. A few weeks ago I was at a fashion show and I met this lady who collected, sold, and sometime remakes vintage jewelry. Her pieces were so beautiful and unique...darn I wish I had taken some pictures to share with you guys though there I do have a photo of a dress that I had to model in the show.

HERE ARE SOME PIECES I REALLY LIKE AND FOUND WHILE BROWSING THROUGH DIFFERENT WEBSITES.

If you don't know how to read Chinese you can still hopefully see that each page is from a different time period. 1989 to 1999 shows the evolution of cell phones :) 1949to 1959 shows the business-like woman of that time. 1999 to 2009 shows the structure of a fast pace economy and environment. Now did anyone notice a sort of pattern? Aha well on every page, every outfit seems to be red, black, or white.

Ahh today was such a long and eventful day.. I don't think I've been so argumentative in my life. People have been really my buttons. For instance, people who know all of a sudden act like they are interested or know fashion. I do not know where this little fad came from but I think it's so fake and cliche. As in cliche, I mean they are so into whatever their favorite music artist likes so they follow, being one of those people who obviously have no sense of direction and seem to only follow what the media puts out for them. Woah, and I think if I see one more Polo shirt, I just might vomit. But other than the negatives, there have been some positives..like me being to come home and blog...without being a procrastinator! Dance was also great today and I've just discovered some other great blogs that I will be putting on my blog list. Okay so now the exhaustion is starting to kick in so I will now end this post :D

OUTFIT POST TOMORROW!

Oh Luella, Lualla, Luella.

So this seems to be the 2nd post where I blog about a girly line. Luella's runway show that was introduced to me Nylon is filled with polka-dots, pink, ruffles, dresses with bubble skirts, and bows, bows, bows! I love how Ms. Bartley always keeps to her girly designs. Also, cut-out heart necks are to die for!

Her Silence is Loud, She Screams without a Sound.

Happy Birthday blogger.com! Though I am watching So You Think You Can Dance right now, I just want to tell you about Stretis's amazing Autumn/Winter 09. Being the girly gal I am, I love all of the frilly dresses and voluminous ruffles.

Come With My Love, to the Sea of Love.

Now that I am starting to fall out of my flats phase, I have been taking interest in looking at more heels. I definitely love Ann Demeulemeester's shoes and also Miu Miu, Balenciaga, Chloe, Giambattista Valli, Anna Sui, Brian Atwood, Bruno Fissoni, Christian Louboutin, Dries Van Noten, and ahhh so many more. But here I'm just going to show you these amazing shoes that I spotted while doing m internet-window-shopping.
All of these shoes are Jeffrey Campbell.

Yesterday Was a Lie.

The school year has started back again..well actually for weeks ago :P It's been an interesting experience so far. The one thing I hated is having to get accustomed to waking up at an early time, but it's not the worst thing in the world. I do love the new thigns that I have purchased for school. Some of the things I've bought while in New York and/or Myrtle Beach. I also did some vintage shopping which was fun and of course my grand total was under $20 dollars!
Gonna post pics later :D

City baby.

Oh yes I am a city baby...in fact a New York City baby. Aha but anyway, I went for this dance convention called New York City Dance Alliance.....And I had a blast; made a lot of friends, met some amazing choreographers and people who have worked in the dance world including broadway stars and choreographers and more. It is a great experience, trust. Did a lot of shopping (Uniqlo, UO, American Apparel, F21, blah blah blah), which was great. It felt so good to be back in my city, since I hadn't been back since summer of 06. Pretty sad, huh? But I'll be back next summer, and the summer after that, and the summer after that summer, then hopefully for good!
