The school year has started back again..well actually for weeks ago :P It's been an interesting experience so far. The one thing I hated is having to get accustomed to waking up at an early time, but it's not the worst thing in the world. I do love the new thigns that I have purchased for school. Some of the things I've bought while in New York and/or Myrtle Beach. I also did some vintage shopping which was fun and of course my grand total was under $20 dollars!
Gonna post pics later :D

City baby.
Oh yes I am a city baby...in fact a New York City baby. Aha but anyway, I went for this dance convention called New York City Dance Alliance.....And I had a blast; made a lot of friends, met some amazing choreographers and people who have worked in the dance world including broadway stars and choreographers and more. It is a great experience, trust. Did a lot of shopping (Uniqlo, UO, American Apparel, F21, blah blah blah), which was great. It felt so good to be back in my city, since I hadn't been back since summer of 06. Pretty sad, huh? But I'll be back next summer, and the summer after that, and the summer after that summer, then hopefully for good!

More pictures to come later, but today has been such a long day!!

Update.
Oh my goodness! I have abandoned my blog so bad. So much has gone on that I couldnt update my lovely little blog. For starters I had a summer dance intensive around the lats time I updated here. On the 28th of June I left for Mrytle Beach, which was a great getaway after two weeks of nonstop dancing. While there I did a little shopping. My purchases were just a black vest, saddle brown gladiators, v-neck tee, pink floppy hat, v-neck tee, patterened scarf, and an exclusive Audrey Hpeburn "Breakfast at Tiffany's" beach towel! Aha the towel was only $20 and I couldnt resist to get it..I mean where else can you buy a Breakfast at Tiffany's towel for twenty dollars?!?!

It was an amazing trip and I enjoyed every minute of it!
Next post will be my New York post!

Rodarte Fall 2009.
I hate to just jump-start this post like this but those patent-like gray thigh high boots are stunning. They look like they were first constructed to find the shape then they got the material and wrapped in around mummy-like. For one I do love the color palette of light and dark grays, greens, and baby blues. And if you look closely into the detailing of the skirt has alligator print.

Doo.Ri
Doo Ri Chung's Pre-Fall 2009 collection in definitely RTW. I love how she sticked to one color or pattern pallette, which consisted of pastel blues and grays, black, dark gray, and this weird black and white pattern theat looks like splattered paint. I love how each piece is versatile. But my favorite of them all would have to be to second look with the pastel blue layered dress.

These badboys are starting to grow on me now. You see at first I thought they had like a little try to hard goth or punk look to them, but now that I see that they are not being worn that way so I love them!

And looks at these!

And no outfit post today, because all I wore was a swimsuit!

Random Photo Gallery
I have finally decided to just use all of these pictures that I save to my computer. I don't know but lately I just feel like getting rid of things. I know this is not like me, me being the person who saves everything. Maybe because it's the summer and I want to feel free and just let go of all the things that the Fall and Winter have bombarded me with. So I guess to start of this whole "get-rid-of-things" phase, I will start off the unused photos on my computer.

3.1 PHILLIP LIM FALL 2009
Phillip Lim's collection was filled with clothes inspired by sixties London. The collection consisted of ankle-length trouser pants, ruffle blouses, blazer and matching pants duo's, round-lens shades, and sleek, short bobs. Here is Lim featured below taking his bow at the end of his show.

THE FACTORY.
While browsing style.com, I stopped upon am article about Andy Warhol's factory. Now that I am not able to find the article again, I cannot recall who is featured in these photos except for of course Edie Segdwick and Andy Warhol. But I love to take note of the 60's style with the shift dresses, big bouffant hairdos, polka dots, black skinnies, and charcoal eyeliner. Most which are similar to the styles today....geesh everything just keeps coming back in style!
